Important notice: new security measures for online trading 2FA
Dear Client,
You’ll soon need a security device to continue trading online.
Please be sure to have your Mobile Security Key activated so you never miss an online trade.
We take cyber-security seriously. To strengthen the protection of your investments, from 27th April you’ll need a Mobile Security Key to make trades online or access your account online.
This requirement according to the new requirements introduced by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) on reducing cybersecurity risk associated with Internet trading issued on October 27, 2017, additional controls are required over Internet trading, including the implementation of two-factor authentication (2FA). In compliance with the Guidelines, starting April 27, 2018, it will be a mandatory requirement for licensed corporations to implement two-factor authentication mechanism for clients logging into their internet trading accounts.
If I don't have a security device, what should I do?
Download Mobile Security Key Application to your phone. Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and download Ayers Token App to Activate the Mobile Security Key. Use the Mobile Security Key to generate a security code to access online trading services conveniently via your mobile phone.
Activating a Mobile Security Key:
1. Download Ayers Token App
2. Setup your password for the Ayers Token App
3. Enter Broker Identification Code CFKAB
4. Enter Trading System Login ID, password and last 3 digits of your Identity Document No.(without the digit in bracket)*

Example 2: Identity document No: 123456789123468X, please enter 468
Example 3: Identity document (passport)No: 0123228, please enter 228
5. A new entry will be shown at the Token List after successful registration

FAQ:
- Why does system indicate that my Two-Factor Authentication with Software Token service is not activated upon registration?
Please contact customer service of your broker firm to activate the Ayers Token's service.
- Can I register Ayers Token on more than one device?
For security reasons, your Ayers Token can only be registered to one device at a time.
- . Can I use Ayers Token App with my tablet?
Ayers Token App is supported on iOS and Android devices, including tablets.
- Why does system always indicate that my entered One-Time Password is invalid upon login?
Since Ayers Token service is time-sensitive, please check and rectify the time setting of your mobile (“Set Automatically” should be turned ON), and restart Ayers Token App after the time adjustment.
- What should I do when I want to change my mobile device?
You are recommended to uninstall the Ayers Token App at your old mobile phone. Then please re-install the Ayers Token App and re-register your token at your new mobile phone.
- What should I do when Ayers Token registered device is lost or stolen?
Please contact the customer service hotline to disable the current Ayers Token service.
- Why do I have to set up Ayers Token App password?
To help prevent anyone else using your mobile device to perform login, you will be asked to setup a password for your Ayers Token App. Please be noticed that you need to input password when Ayers Token is locked. The Auto lock time can be adjusted at the setting page of Ayers Token App.
- What should I do if I forget the password of Ayers Token App?
Please uninstall Ayers Token App and re-install it again. Please be noticed that for security reason, all the stored token(s) will be deleted. Please re-register again after new installation.
- Why Ayers Token App cannot be installed on a jailbroken/rooted device?
Since your device is jailbroken/rooted, your device will be less secure and may lead to fraudulent transactions. Please use another non-jailbroken/rooted device to register Ayers Token service again.
- Can I restore the registered Token(s) from the backup of the phone?
Please be noticed that for security reason, all the stored token(s) will not be restored. Please setup the password and re-register again after the phone restoration.
